I don't think that is a bad thing..or even boring. In fact I think its a good sign that you two are comfortable with one another and the "silence".. being content isn't a bad thing.

I agree with Jonsie and Tiny_Dreamer. I don't think it's boring either. My BF and I don't go out very much but when we do it's so much fun! I think having less actual dates makes each one a little more special. :) It shows strength in your relationship when you don't have to impress each other constantly.

I believe it is a sign of maturity and strength in your trust of the relationship. We haven't gone out any where fun in years. We do sometimes go to Walmart together. And we watch movies together, eat together, etc. My parents didn't have dates until just the last couple of years. Now they go out to eat together all the time.

Why do you think that would be odd? My boyfriend thought it was the coolest thing the first time we went to Costco together and made dinner out of eating 15 samples! then we went and had a beer!

Ditto the odd! My hubby and I are beyond dullsville! We have great ideas of seeing a movie or going to do something else and then almost always end up on the couch sharing popcorn and watching stuff taped on the DVR we can't watch when the kiddos are home. Just be you and love each other. I'm excited to try the Costco idea for a night out - LOL!
