give him some time but don't wait forever cause if he can't get over his ex within about a month then he won't and you should move on but hopefully he will get over her so you two can be together

I would give him the time he needs all the while keeping yourself in the picture by hanging out. But you have to be careful, you don't want to friend zone yourself.. it's a fine line. I was in a situation like that and I ended up letting my self get put in his friend zone. Yeah, that's right guys have friend zone girls just as girls friend zone guys. true story. lol
