I had turtles and cats when I was really young and don't remember ever seeing them together. Hmmmm listening to the others I don't know who would eat who. Best buds? You'll have to update us on this one :)

Um.... Isn't it dangerous to let the cat be around the snapping turtle? I'm pretty sure it could kill her.

That looks identical to a miniature turtle I got a while back. If that is a snapping turtle when it gets big you won't be able to handle it. It will clamp down on your hand, fingers, etc....As a kid I saw a snapping turtle snap a broom stick in half.

@laurel, hehe ! i've had my snapping turtle for about a year now and no mess has gone on yet lol. but, its odd how protective she is. lang lang is scared of little kids and when my little nephew in law comes over she gets scared that he will harm my turtle so she jumps in front the tank and hisses at my nephew lol

i know. cats are so mysterious. i sometimes even think they are part human lol the way they sleep all cuddle up like a human would .
